Rough day today. Making calls, not getting a lot of response. Leaving lots of messages because they are out of the office, not fitting the criteria. Especially on the realtor side of things.

But, I look at it this way: the more that I get no's, the closer I am to the yes's.

So here's to the no's so that we can get closer to the yes's!

I had the most dreadful week ever in the HISTORY of my REI Career/Business. My year old laptop that I got for Christmas CRASHED on me last week and I lost EVERYTHING.

Family pics, all my doc, contracts, and my whole life is now floating out in cyberspace somewhere. It is going to take me another year to get back to where I was. NOW WHAT am I to do?

Thought about throwing in the towel and calling it QUITS. I guess all things happen for a reason. Maybe this is another obstacle. No backup was saved. Didn't think I'd need it for a new laptop, boy was I wrong,,,

Hey all,

This is not my M.O. I consider myself a very positive person who seeks amicable agreements. If you are clever you can create win win scenarios. You just need to make the effort, sometimes a big effort. That being said, I have a difficult situation I am trying to resolve. Any suggestions?

Today's mission is to find out all I can about reverse mortgages. We have a lead on a property where the owner passed away and had a reverse mortgage. I need to figure out if we can buy it from the lender, and what the price would be. Every day is a new path. I have to wonder if I'll ever get to a point that leads don't require a mountain of research and learning. That day isn't today. )

Called several realtors today. Two got back to me and seem legit so we will see if they are A players.

Also called banks about refinancing. Need to call back 10 to follow up my messages. I asked questions that were on Dean's scripts. Had no clue what the bankers were saying but I faked it til I made!! And you know what? They totally took me as a serious investor (which I am) and it was actually a blast!! My confidence was boosted for sure.

Making progress one step at a time!!

My goal for now is to make going on DG once a day a habit. I'm starting off small with my goals. Once you are faithful in little, you will be able to be faithful in the larger things.
