I am very excited to be starting my journal today, 05-14-2009. It was only a few weeks ago, my wife and I got extremely motivated attending Dean's live event in Phoenix. I am still motivated beyond belief, weeks later. We have met so many wonderul investors at Dean's Live Gain the Edge Event and on the DG website. I want to thank eveyone for their positive comments and support. I look forward to learning and hearing about everyone's insight and deals and we look forward to sharing our daily journal of activities, as well. Have a great day! Believe and Achieve!

i just enrolled this afternoon in the Success Academy. i'm very excited, yet very scared, to put it mildly. this is a big step for me. i tried it twice before with other people and was not pleased at all, but i've done more homework on the Success Academy and i like what i'm hearing and seeing. i've already worked with some really nice people and i truly believe this is the way to go for me. i am starting this journal so i can track my progress and get input from others as i move along in this journey. i posted a question on this site to see what kind of input i would get on enrolling in the Academy and that went very well. it was nice to hear from other students and know how they feel about the program.

Well, here I am! After seven weeks of devouring this site every single day for six to eighteen hours per day, I am finally starting my journal.

I never saw any of Dean's infomercials, but I did see the last five minutes of The Hansen Report when he was on as a guest. So I ordered the book. I was just ready. Of course, I had been "ready" many times before. Like so many of us, I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of "Get Rich Quick" deals and none of them ever worked. I have participated in dozens of the MLM deals and (sigh) am still dead broke.

My name is Tammy and I bought the Dean Graziosi books on my Thanksgiving vacation. I bought them in audio format as well because I am a stay at home mom to 4, and I homeschool them, so I don't get much of a chance to read these days!(Unless 'The B Book', 'Goodnight Moon', 'Skippy John Jones' and 'The BellyButton Book' count) My children are currently 2,4, 10 and 12. My husband is employed for the county and makes a decent salary, more in flexible benefits.

I have been a REI since 1997, but here I am in 2010 and I have 5 mortgages and my cash flow is pretty poor. I own 5 properties, rent out 3 of them, 1 is my primary home, and we just acquired a sweet divorce sale property in the California mountains. (100K below FMV!).

I thought if we posted some daily activity in the life of an RE Investor, it might encourage others to get out there and DO!
It doesn't matter how little or much you do, just post whatever. Did you drive a neighborhood, look at a house, follow a lead, send postcards or fliers, make phonecalls? This is all the "work" that leads up to the ultimate success, signing day. Use Anita's 3-house deal as an example. She did her homework. That certainly wasn't her first phonecall of the week!

I woke up at 5:30 instead of 4:30 and posted all my remaining 8 bandit signs.
Great feeling to know that I have accomplished a mini goals leading to success.

Hi all - I havent posted in a while- (I've fallen off the top user list, boo hoo!) Bu finally have some new info to post! Closing my first flip on monday, the 29th. There was a little delay when at the last minute the buyers title company wanted info on my LLC - but its all good to go. And amazingly - for those of you who read my story in other posts - this house sold in ONE week! There is another on the street 4 doors down that has been for sale for months. And now I have found a bank repo/short sale right next door to that - 3 doors down from my flip!
