OfflineHello ALL on the DG site,
In October 2010, I found and read 'Be a RE Millionaire' and today I finished listening to all 117 of Dean's wonderful video blogs.
With that and reading 'Profit from RE Right Now' and I am currently reading 'Your Town Your RE Profits', I feel very confident with the 'knowledge' and 'encouragement' I have read and listened to on this site. I have focused on absorbing all of the encouraging words, as I sadly have had a few naysayers tear me, my ideas and many of my dreams down (so I watched ALL of the video blogs in an effort to help encourage me and help build me back up a bit again).
Tomorrow, I expect to be signed up for the Success Academy, so I can start taking 'ACTION' (which I know is the next step needed to make my dreams a reality), as I have some big dreams to catch up on from the naysayers focused on taking them away from me. I cannot wait to do my first deal to really get started, as I know that is the hurdle that currently stands between me and my dreams!!!
Admittedly, I am terrified, as I am in one of the highest priced markets in California, so I am a bit scared and I hope the fear won't be as crippling at the affects that the naysayers have been to me. (I loved hearing (on blog #111) about the guy from California who will be at the Gain The EDGE Event 2011 who made $80K on his first deal! That was VERY encouraging being that I don't live in a land of $15 - 50K houses. (Our houses started at 10++ times that amount.)
Someday (in the near future) I hope to be one of DG's exciting Success Stories -AND- if all goes well I am hoping to get to one of my first goals of getting to the Gain The EDGE Event 2011! Wish me luck!
Any and all words of advise and/or suggestions or morsels of information that you may think will be helpful, please share. If you have any techniques that you think may work well for REI in Northern California and beyond, please share as well. Thank you!

Drew is my coach and I am looking forward to my first call tomorrow to discuss the details of how things work.
I am filled with excitement and fear, but I cannot wait to get to my 1st deal!

I'm so new as I just started a journal, but I've had the book Profitting since 2009. I have procrastinated, tried to get a job (lost mine in 2009) and am coming back to the fold. I am in a financial pickle right now, so I can't join Success Academy, so I'm eager to follow your progress. Good luck!!!!
