OfflineI have only had Dean's books for a few weeks, but I am making more time since this is very important to me. I'm starting from scratch, and will just try to journal everything. Right now I'm still reading Dean's first book "Profit from Real Estate Right Now". I don't know much, but I am trying my best to become a sponge and absorb all the knowledge I can.
Next Week I will also plan to sign up for Dean's Success Academy. I am excited and looking forward to really knowing the ins and outs of Dean's real estate techniques and strategies. I am currently working a lot so time is scarce, but I am so excited with what I am learning and planning, that I will make the time! 
- My plans for the near future: I want to complete my first deal(in my mind i first thought 50 deals, hahah). I have to keep focused on the prize, right now, and that is completing my first deal and gaining the knowledge to eventually do it completely on my own.

I was just let go from my job last Thursday(Nov 4th) that I had worked for over 6 years and I was heart broken. Even though I feel it is a huge injustice and I didn't deserve it(politics), I have and had decided to keep positive, and look at this as an opportunity, not a failure. I have to admit that listening to Dean and other positive people in my life, has given me a new outlook. There was a time I would have fallen down into a depression and let myself stay down, instead of pulling myself up and searching for the bright side of things. I'm still battling my demons about losing my job. I have poured myself into my work and I am not used to being so still. I am also very concerned about my financial future, but onto the real reason I wanted to journal this evening.
I had been talking to Bryan Debord(forgive me if I spelled it wrong bud) from the success academy and have been discussing when I can afford to join. I explained the bad news to him, but I really wanted to get on board. He worked with me and I decided to take a chance and drop the money to get onboard. I am already glad I did. Many times in life you have to just take the risk and force yourself into a better situation. Owning and making a living in real estate has been a dream of mine from a very young man, but never could get the right direction to go in, being broke has never helped. Struggling and watching my parents suffer always motivated me and I have always told myself "someday...". I'm very glad I joined and I have been trying to absorb as much info as I can and I feel this will be a chance for me to devote all the time I probably would not have had before while I was working. Everyone is talking to me about getting another job, etc... in the back of my mind I am telling myself, "not if I can help it". Its game time and I'm going to make this work. My thanks sincerely to Dean for keeping the positivity flowing. His attitude and outlook is amazing and it has truly helped to keep me positive and motivate me to believe. You have to make your future, and despite my fears and concerns, I really feel better and have a more positive attitude than ever before. I look forward to being another success story and plan on changing the future in ways my mother could only dream of. I feel I have so much to accomplish in my life and of my dreams, and the sky is the limit. I believe! Even if I have to start out small, I'm going to make it happen! Never give up on yourself and your dreams. I'm going to focus on now and right here... yesterday is gone, and tomorrow will come soon enough...
